We are on a mission to scale new heights in Trace Element Research.

The International Society for Trace Element Research in Humans is a non-profit corporation which was founded in 1984 by Dr. Prasad, Dr. Abdulla, Dr. Brewer, Dr. Fell, Dr. Parr, and Dr. Solomons.

The primary purpose of the society is to disseminate knowledge in the field of Trace Element Research in Humans. More than 30 years later, our members include scientists, physicians, and other health professionals from around the globe.

We encourage and promote increased scientific and clinical research on the causes, alleviation of suffering, and cure of Trace Element Disorders.

We accumulate information about Trace Elements, and promote its dissemination to scientists, physicians and other concerned parties.

We work hard to educate the general public and medical professionals about the existence, diagnosis and treatment of Trace Element Disorders.
